《加勒比海盗》中的杰克船长，帅气、放荡、勇敢，他时常漂泊在蔚蓝的海上，在起伏的海浪中悠度时光，充满惊奇的冒险，让人心生向往。在太平洋的西海岸，台湾省花莲县也驻扎着这样一位“海盗浪人”，大家叫他kulo。

On the western coast of the Pacific Ocean there also lives a “pirate hero” in the Lotus County of Taiwan province, his name is kulo.

多年前的一次意外，让他失去了右手，但他从未想过颓废，用自己仅剩的一只手，拆了家门和围墙，他说：“这片美丽的大海，不应该属于我一个人”。后来，他和朋友一起打造了一家民宿，名叫海或。

An accident years ago took her right hand away, and never has he been thinking about being desperate. He tore down the gate and fence using his only hand and said: “this beautiful sea shouldn’t belong to myself.” Then he built up a B&B with his friends and named it as “ Hai Huo”.

纹着花臂、装着假肢、散着头发、喝着啤酒的kulo看起来特别酷，其实特别温柔，连他都说，自己不是海盗，只是喜欢搞笑。

Flower tattoos on arms with a prosthetic limb, hair disheveled with beers, he looks inevitably cool. While he is gentle and full of tender, even himself mocked: “I’m not a pirate, I’m just a joker.”

时常有人问起他右手的原因，kulo便会用不同的故事解释给他们，这是他最乐此不彼对人开的玩笑，开到最后，他的右手有了100种失去的方式，最后他和别人说实话的时候，反而没人相信了，果真是个幽默的人呢！

He is always asked about the cause of the hand, and kulo will explain with various stories time and time again, and eventually there were 100 ways of losing his hand, and when he told the truth about the cause, no one believes in him. What a humorous man!

没有右手的kulo，用铁钩喝酒、捕鱼，还能演奏非洲鼓，对他来说，失去右手没有成为他生活的障碍。如果说kulo有什么需要麻烦别人，那就是遇到来玩的客人，他请求帮忙扎头发了。他说：“也许这个世界上并不需要完整的他，但是少了一只手，他却得到了更多。”

For kulo, losing the right hand is not a barrier for life. He drinks and fishes with steel hooks, and he can also play the African drum. If there have to be some troubles for others, that is his hair needs to be tied up by the customers. He said: “maybe this world doesn’t need a complete kulo, I lost one hand, but I get more from it.”

有的时候，太过完美也是一种不完美，少了一只右手的kulo却觉得自己过的很完美。花莲的海美的自由，海边的他，亦是如此。有的时候我们会失去一些东西，但是换个角度看，我们也会多了一些体验，只要我们足够加强，没有什么不可以。

Sometimes, being perfect is somehow a kind of imperfect. The one-hand kulo thinks his life is perfect. The sea of Hualian is beautiful with freedom, and so is he. We lost something in life, but when seen from another perspective, there may be more experience in it. There is nothing impossible as long as we are strong-minded.
